Homemade Bathroom Cleaner
3/4 cup bicarbonate of soda
1/2 cup liquid castile soap or other SLS free liquid soap
⅛ cup coarse salt
drops tea tree essential oil
drops lemon essential oil
10 drops orange essential oil
2 tablespoons vinegar
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the bicarbonate of soda and liquid soap until it’s like a thick paste. The bicarbonate will fizz when blended with certain ingredients. It’s an amazing household product. It can clean just about anything from silverware to pots and pans, and it can help leave your bathroom clean too
Now, add the salt and vinegar. Salt is great because it adds texture giving the cleaner the perfect scrubbing benefits the help remove stubborn dirt and grime such as soap scum. Vinegar helps by providing antibacterial properties, which are effective for killing germs. There will be a little fizz when the vinegar contacts the bicarbonate of soda again, this is normal, and it will stop after a few seconds.
Lastly, combine the essential oils and mix thoroughly. Tea tree oil is amazing! I use it for so many things, but adding it to your homemade bathroom cleaner can do wonders for helping to keep your bathroom bacteria free.

½ cup citric acid
2tbsp 3% hydrogen peroxide

Baking tray & parchment paper or reusable liner
In a large bowl, mix the bicarbonate of soda with the citric acid.
Slowly add the hydrogen peroxide, a few drops at a time, it will fizz, so it is important to add slowly until it is all incorporated.
Add the essential oils & liquid soap & mix well.
Test the mixture to see if it clumps together, it should not be too wet or too dry. If not staying together, add a few more drops of hydrogen peroxide.
Form small balls, about the size of a brussel sprout with your hands & place on baking tray.
Allow them to air dry, about 6 hours, then transfer to a glass container & store in the bathroom.
